Good evening parents and guardians,
I'm so grateful to your children. They were amazingly well-behaved today! Their Sign of the Beaver final projects were fantastic. They were excellent presenters, as well as supportive audience members. I can't wait to see what they create for their December book projects tomorrow. Just a reminder that the students will be presenting their winter/holiday/gift-themed poems on Wednesday at our next Coffee Shop. You can feel free to stop by if you have a few minutes to spare around 9:30ish. These two assignments are the only "homework" for this week. Hopefully tomorrow will be just as wonderful as today. We're also visiting with our second grade buddies to give them their homemade gifts. Wish us luck!

Jessica and Clay from Kestrel are teaching a Saturday class in wildlife tracking and nature storytelling this winter.
Kids will learn to follow and identify local wildlife from their footprints, and create their own stories to share at our student work showcase. If anyone is interested, check this out: http://kestreleducation.org/winter-session/ |
